You probably know Suki Waterhouse, the very British model and actress who is taking the fashion and film industries by storm. Well, you might be surprised to learn that she recently shared a hilarious anecdote about her name… and believe me, you will smile.

During an interview on the set of the Express Edition campaign, Suki revealed:

“My parents named me Suki. My real name is actually Alice Suki Waterhouse. Uber drivers always think I’m Japanese, and so they hesitate to pick me up. They chase after Japanese clients thinking it’s me!”

Honestly, admit that it’s funny. Her name “Suki”, which sounds very Japanese, gives her a hard time every day. Not very practical when you just want to get home after a long day of shooting!

And that’s not all: on set, the it-girl not only shared her sense of humor, but she also showed that she knows how to move. Between takes, Suki revealed her dance moves with her usual charm.

For fashion fans (like you and me 😍), the shots from the Express Edition campaign are definitely worth a look. Suki shines brightly, and she wears the pieces from the collection like no one else.

💡 In brief

  • Suki Waterhouse has a name that intrigues and makes her pass for a Japanese person.
  • She shared this anecdote with a lot of self-deprecation.
  • She set the shooting of the Express Edition campaign on fire with her style and dance moves.
  • The photos from the collection are already available and highly inspiring.
