You probably know Suki Waterhouse as an indie-pop singer or as a model for major brands… but did you know she is also a photographer? Yes, in addition to singing and acting, she expresses herself through image, and her visual universe speaks volumes about her artistic soul. ✨

📸 When Suki Exhibits Her Own Photos

In 2014, Suki showcased a portion of her photographic work at an exhibition at the Eb and Flow Gallery in London. This exhibition, titled I’ll Be Your Mirror, was organized with Next Model Management and also featured artists like Reggie Yates and Imogen Morris Clarke.
The title is a poetic nod: a mirror that reflects the other, as if the photo becomes a way to look at oneself through someone else’s eye. Just with this name, we can guess that Suki doesn’t just take photos… she tells stories.

🎨 Her Artistic Eye Beyond Music

What I love about her is that she is not just a performer on stage. Her sensitivity is also evident in her snapshots: a lot of softness, a vintage and dreamy side that mirrors the universe of her songs.
When we listen to Moves or Good Looking and look at her photos, we find that same slightly melancholic atmosphere, sometimes bright, sometimes mysterious. We feel that her photographer’s eye influences her way of creating her music and her stage image.

🌍 Inspiration and Visual Universe

Suki grew up in London but traveled a lot, and you can feel it: her snapshots capture intimate moments, fragments of life, always with a very personal touch. You can sense the influence of fashion (she has modeled for Burberry, RedValentino, etc.), but also a deeper artistic search, between independent cinema and retro imagery.
Her Instagram is a real mood board: plays of light, raw self-portraits, polaroids that seem straight out of the 70s… it’s a bit like entering her secret notebook.

💡 Why Is It So Interesting?

Because few people know that Suki is not just an artist we listen to or watch on Netflix (Daisy Jones & The Six 💖), but also a creator of images in her own right. Her photos allow us to understand her unique style and see how cohesive her universe is.
By discovering her photographic work, we better understand why her music videos or visuals convey such a strong and identifiable aesthetic.

In summary: Suki Waterhouse is not just an enchanting voice and a style we love to copy. She is also a passionate photographer who uses the lens as a mirror of her emotions. And that’s a facet of her that many fans have yet to explore.
