Have you ever found it hard to breathe in a pair of tight leather pants? Imagine that it sends you straight… to the hospital. That’s exactly what happened to Suki Waterhouse, and she just revealed it to her fans.
The pants that were too much 🖤
In the middle of her The Sparklemuffin Tour, Suki shared on X (formerly Twitter) that she had to undergo surgery for a inguinal hernia. According to her, the culprit was not stress or fatigue… but a low-cut black leather pants, embedded with diamonds, that she wore on stage.
She even posted a photo of herself from her hospital bed, as well as a snapshot of the “cursed” pants. And for her followers, it was a shock: a stunning look, but with not-so-glamorous consequences.
But is it true or exaggerated? 🤔
Doctors confirm it: an inguinal hernia can be promoted by many things (heavy loads, chronic cough, overweight…). But tight clothing, on the other hand, does not help at all: it increases abdominal pressure and can aggravate the risk.
In short, even if it’s not only the pants that caused her issue, Suki has clearly pointed out a reality: suffering to be beautiful is not worth it.
